Lea D. Henry founded Two Rivers Development Partners, LLC in 2017 to serve emerging domestic and international real estate markets with new property and real estate projects that contribute to a thriving, sustainable local and regional economy. She believes that 'every place can be great' and every community has dreams for their future that deserve to come true.

Lea is a third generation real estate professional. She began her career in public service working with disconnected youth. Over the past 25+ years Lea has held positions with North Carolina's most highly regarded community economic development and affordable housing organizations, government, and educational institutions. Lea has also invested in and rehabbed a number of properties for profit, as well as worked as a broker in a family real estate firm.

Lea holds a Bachelor's Degree in History from Columbia University and a Masters Degree in Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Lea is currently a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Rocky Mount Housing Authority and the Ooni of Ife Global Outreach Advisory Board. Previous board positions include United Community Ministries in Rocky Mount, the Durham Workforce Development Board and Preservation Rocky Mount.
